The Experience
A waterfall, a wildlife pond and freshwater crocodiles make the view from this cabin something to remember. The Crocodile Cabin offers two-storey, two-bedroom accommodation overlooking a habitat shared by freshwater crocodiles and endangered Mary River turtles. Its deck provides a place to watch the water and discover the animals at your own pace. A four-metre waterfall adds to the setting, bringing an unusual wildlife outlook to a luxurious cabin escape. Room to Unwind
Soaring ceilings give the interior a spacious feel. The master bedroom has a king bed, while the second bedroom features a split king, offering flexibility for families or friends travelling together. A stone bathtub in the master ensuite and heated bathroom floors add comfort. The kitchen includes a large island, fridge, cooktop, microwave and dishwasher, with laundry facilities and a private carport with electric vehicle charging also provided. Explore cabin features.
Your Own Plunge Pool
The private heated plunge pool gives you another reason to leave time between outings. Enjoy a leisurely swim, then return to the deck’s dedicated habitat viewing area. Having both within your accommodation makes an afternoon at the cabin an appealing part of the holiday. View the cabin’s outdoor facilities.

Plan these ahead if you have a particular experience in mind, then leave some free time to revisit favourite animals. Check zoo admission and inclusions.
A Connection to Wildlife
The lodge was inspired by Steve Irwin’s love of animals and wild places, with the Irwin family continuing that legacy through conservation work and opportunities to connect with nature. Beyond the crocodile habitat, the property also has a shared habitat for red kangaroos, emus and koalas. Viewing opportunities from the restaurant patio and lodge infinity pool extend the wildlife experience beyond your cabin, giving you more reasons to pause and look around. Read the lodge’s story.
